According to the statement received (News News Agency) on Monday: the two sides discussed Iraq _ ties after the withdrawal of US forces at the end of the year, as well as the Governments plans and programmes to operationalize the Convention framework alasttratigi and activating the joint coordination committees on political and diplomatic cooperation, energy, trade and services, education and cultural exchange and judicial cooperation.
It also discussed the Organization of a u.s. Embassy and consulates with the Transitional Government, the meeting examined the preparations and preparations for bilateral meetings between the two sides and the next Prime Minister's visit to Washington, it said.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior Ministry officials.
