Hashimi was the head of the Islamic Party, a political party representative of the Muslim Brotherhood in Iraq, in 2004, but in 2009 he announced that he is no longer a member of the party. A source at Baghdad Airport (News News Agency) on Sunday: Baghdad airport security authorities prevented al Hashimi and seven companions travel to the city of Erbil, without those security reasons.
Added: the authorities barred the Secretary wanted for unknown reasons, without explaining his reasons, after being questioned by the accompanying personal reasons, noting that other information indicates a bug in the plane will leave aboard al Hashimi.
